Free Embroidery Files is a creative project by Ute and Nicole – the same team behind ChezNU.TV, a long-running sewing platform from Switzerland.

We started this international site because we believe embroidery should be joyful, accessible, and high quality – no matter where you live or which machine you use.

We’re a mother-daughter duo with a shared passion for fabric, thread and digital design.

• Ute is the stitching heart of this project – she tests every design on a Brother embroidery machine, checking for stitch quality, color flow and finish. She also creates the photos and videos you see across the site.
• Nicole handles the digital side: she prepares every file for download, takes care of the website, organizes the designs, and manages SEO and social media.

Together, we sketch ideas, develop new motifs and make sure every design is clean, useful and ready to use – even though it’s free.

We want to build the largest free embroidery design library online – not with quantity, but with care. Every file we publish is tested, refined and shared with the same attention we give our paid projects on ChezNU.TV.

Our designs are for hobby embroiderers around the world. Whether you’re just starting out or have stitched hundreds of patterns – you’re welcome here.
