Frequently Asked Questions2026-08-24T19:11:25+02:00
What should I do if a design does not stitch correctly?2026-08-24T20:03:47+02:00

Please report the design name or number, file format, embroidery machine, fabric, and stabilizer used. Photos of the result are also helpful. Stitch results can vary with machine settings, thread, needle, fabric, and stabilizer.

What does the free private-use license allow?2026-08-24T20:03:47+02:00

You may stitch files for personal use, share photos of your finished work, and gift up to nine embroidered items per embroidery file. Selling embroidered items requires a commercial license.

How does the commercial license work?2026-08-24T20:03:47+02:00

A commercial license is required to sell embroidered items made with our files. It currently costs EUR 100, covers up to 5,000 embroidered items across the available designs, and is granted to one person or legal entity. Contact license@cheznu.tv to request one.

May I share, upload, or resell the embroidery files?2026-08-24T20:03:47+02:00

No. The digital embroidery files may not be shared, uploaded, redistributed, transferred, or resold. Each person who wants to use a file must download it directly from this website.

How can I request a new embroidery design?2026-08-24T20:03:47+02:00

Use the Request a Design page and describe your idea. If possible, include the preferred hoop size and stitch style. Requests are reviewed, but submission does not guarantee implementation, and existing third-party designs will not be copied.

Why can I add only three files per order?2026-08-24T20:03:47+02:00

To keep checkout and download delivery reliable, each order is limited to a maximum of three embroidery files.

Can I order more than three files?2026-08-24T20:03:47+02:00

Yes. Complete your current order first, then start another order. You may place as many additional orders as you like, including multiple orders on the same day.

Is there a daily order limit?2026-08-24T20:03:47+02:00

No. There is no daily order limit. The three-file limit applies only to each individual order.

What happens when I try to add a fourth file?2026-08-24T20:03:47+02:00

The fourth file will not be added to your cart. You will see a message asking you to complete the current order before placing another one.

How do I receive my embroidery files?2026-08-24T20:03:47+02:00

After checkout, the files are available through the download links on the order confirmation page and in the order email. Please also save downloaded files locally.

Are the embroidery files really free?2026-08-24T20:03:47+02:00

Yes. All embroidery files listed as free can be ordered and downloaded free of charge. You still complete the checkout process so the download can be assigned and delivered correctly.

Do I need an account to order files?2026-08-24T20:03:47+02:00

No. You can order as a guest without creating an account. An account is optional, but it keeps all files from your orders conveniently available together under My Account.

Which embroidery file formats are included and tested?2026-08-24T20:03:47+02:00

Designs are supplied in PES, JEF, EXP, HUS, VP3, VIP, XXX, and DST formats. PES files are physically tested on a Brother Innov-is NV880E. The other formats are generated from the original design.

Can I resize or edit the embroidery files?2026-08-24T20:03:47+02:00

Usually not without specialist embroidery software. Embroidery files contain stitch data rather than ordinary images, and simple resizing can adversely affect stitch density and quality.
