Description
This Easter decoration embroidery project is a small in-the-hoop design that turns leftover fabric into soft fabric bunnies. Because the shape is simple and decorative, it works well for seasonal spring projects and handmade Easter decor.
Easter decoration embroidery in two sizes
This Easter decoration embroidery design is available in two sizes.
Medium size (FEF-10000024_Funny_Bunny_M.*):
126 × 136 mm, approx. 725 stitches, 1 color
Small size (FEF-10000024_Funny_Bunny_S.*):
98 × 90 mm, approx. 525 stitches, 1 color
Both sizes use the same stitching process. In addition, both versions are stitched completely in the hoop.
Easter decoration embroidery – step by step
Preparing and stitching the bunny
Step 1: Hoop embroidery stabilizer with one layer of cotton fabric on top. First, the machine stitches an outline as a placement line. Then place the second cotton layer right sides together on top and align it to the outline. After that, the machine stitches the bunny shape and joins both layers, while leaving a small opening for turning.

Step 2: Next, remove the piece from the hoop. Cut around the stitched outline while the excess fabric is still attached.

Step 3: Then trim the seam allowance close to the stitching. Carefully clip curves and corners, because this step helps the bunny keep a clean and smooth shape.

Turning, stuffing, and finishing
Step 4: Now turn the bunny right side out through the opening. After turning, gently shape the ears and edges.

Step 5: Afterward, fill the bunny evenly with stuffing. Then close the opening using a ladder stitch.

Step 6: Finally, attach a small pom-pom as a tail using craft glue or hot glue. The bunny is now finished.

Using your finished Easter decoration embroidery
This Easter decoration embroidery works well for using up small fabric scraps. As a result, the finished bunny looks lovely hanging on an Easter branch or used as simple spring table decoration.
